Well, welcome to Kit Spooner's temporary fic archive. Or at least I'm hoping this will be temporary. For now, I'm just stashing a few stories up here for storage purposes. My ulterior motive here involves the CLAMP Fanfiction Awards, though. I'm putting up my Card Captor Sakura stories here in hopes they'll get nominated and/or voted for now that I have a more stable archive than Fanfiction.net.
Disclaimers are within each story, but just so you know, these are all works of fanfiction. I do not own the characters or the situations. I do, however, own the stories themselves since I wrote them. Don't steal. I bite. Grr.

I finally updated at FF.N so I figured I ought to do the same here. Actually, all I did was add the newly-titled "Paths" to the list of fics. It's not much, but I might as well keep up-to-date. I've been pondering adding a page full of fic snippets and incomplete writings for people to see how much I've improved over the years. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Ah well, off to finish up the last of the semester. Then it's home for the holidays! Whee!

I don't have any fic updates here, but I've got a few notable announcements. First, I've managed to put together a little weblog to do more specific ramblings about fics, wackiness, and life in general. So check there for more regular correspondance if you feel the need.
The second announcement concerns the results of the 2001 CCS Fanfic Awards. I won three awards for two fics and two more fics were nominated. I've added the adorable banners that bell made for us to the fic listings below. Now I shall go off and bask in the glow of my ego. *sparkles*

Yep, another update! So soon, you ask? Well, I've been excessively non-productive and I thought I'd share. Anyway First of all, I'll say Happy Hallowe'en. I'm just a few days late. This is what my pumpkin looked like this year.
Ain't it cool? This is the first time I've ever actually painted a pumpkin. Usually I'm the carving-type since I like the sharp, pointy, implements of destruction. But I decided that my hallway stinks enough without adding rotting pumpkin to the mix. Hence the paint. It's a cute little anime vampire pumpkin. *beams*
Moving right along, I've also added a teaser for Chapter 7 of A Cappella. It's very . . . teasing. So don't read it if you can't stand not getting the full and complete chapter. I'm also adding my Art Page O' Fun. Woo. Yes, it's full of my junk. I'll eventually get it all cleaned up but this'll have to do for now. Enjoy, folks.

Oooh! An update! [And the peasants rejoice!] Ahem. Anyway, I just first wanted to thank the people who helped nominate some of my stories (A Cappella, Nadesico's Daughter, The Seduction of Sakura, and After the Fall). Love y'all! So vote for me.

Paths - Card Captor Sakura - General - G - NEW! - The first diary entry of Mizuki Kaho, age 11. This can also be viewed as a bit of a teaser for the forthcoming Eriol/Kaho romance, "Drawn." (complete)
Tomoyo Cycle - Card Captor Sakura - Angst/Romance/Weird - PG-13 - NEW! - Yep, the inspiration bug struck again. I'd promised myself that I wouldn't start any new CCS fics until I finished up A Cappella, but some things are out of my control. This is my third portrayal of Tomoyo and it's different from both "A Cappella"-Tomoyo and "After the Fall"-Tomoyo. The Tomoyo Cycle follows Tomoyo around the time of her high school graduation, through anguish and joy, love and loss. Wanrings: Alternate pairings ahead! If you think you know who Tomoyo will end up with, you're probably wrong. Oh, and each chapter is framed around an Ani DiFranco song. Woo. (incomplete: 2/6)

Nadesico's Daughter - Card Captor Sakura - General/AU/Romance - PG-13 - This is the oldest of my CCS fics, and the one I like the most. The concept still fascinates me and I promise I'll finish it someday. Summary: Sakura's power is too much for an eleven-year-old to handle. To protect herself and her loved ones, Sakura seals away her powers and memories. Five years later, the seals begin to weaken . . . (incomplete: 4/9)

The Seduction of Sakura - Card Captor Sakura - Slightly Raunchy Humor - PG-13 - The infamous 'Lime or Strawberry?' fic. Features a horny Sakura, a baffled Syaoran, and a highly amused sex shop clerk. Yes, I am a twisted, twisted little girl. This was fun to write. (complete)
Both Hands - Vision of Escaflowne - WAFF/Romance - PG - This is the WAFFy ending that never happened. This was my first completed piece of fanfiction, and one of the ones I'm still pleased with. Hitomi is reunited with Van, accompanied by an Ani song. ^_^; (complete)
She Moves In Mysterious Ways - Ranma 1/2 - Romance/Humor - G - *cackles* Yes, it's a Shampoo/Mousse fic. This was the Christmas fic for this past holiday season. A healthy dose of WAFFiness for our Amazon pair. Warning: There is mistletoe involved. (complete)
